Grand Master Stephen Millwood
Chief Instructor and Club owner, Stephen (Steve) Millwood (Kwan jon nim) started Hapkido Brisbane (originally; Steve’s Hapkido Academy) in August 2004, after moving to Brisbane from Tasmania.
He is a Korea Moo Moo Kwan Hapkido Association Master, Kumdo Master, and founder of the Korean Martial Arts Association of Brisbane, which incorporates: Hapkido Brisbane and Kumdo Brisbane
Grand Master Millwood has a passion for teaching Self Defence, showing how easily traditional Hapkido adapts to modern day attacks, and ensuring every one of his students feels comfortable with their own progress.

In July 2013, Grand Master Millwood was a judge at the Moo Moo Kwan Hapkido World Championships in Seoul
Grand Master Millwood traveled to South Korea in 2005 and 2013 for the Hapkido world championships with successful Australian teams.
In 2012 Grand Master Millwood hosted the Moo Moo Kwan World Championships in Brisbane
